This qipao is inspired by Dawn Wells, famous for her character as Mary Ann Summers in 60's sitcom Giligan's Island. The actress made gingham prints famous as her charater wore it a lot in the sitcom. The signature material of this qipao is the fully sequined gingham used that makes the whole piece shine. Definitely not your average gingham. This piece is adorned with pearl trimmings on the neckline, waistline and most importantly the snakeline wavy cut line on the front to subtly represent the year of snake. This piece is also adorned with removable rhinestone bows. Wear it this Chinese New Year for a glamorous family gathering.
